The irregularity in the sapele mahogany dances in certain light, complimented by alder stretchers. The table top is unidentified jungle wood from South America backfilled with epoxy resin with a subtle hint of blue alcohol dye.

This coffee table is one of very few epoxy resin tables I’ll make. Working epoxy doesnt give me the same joy as working wood. This table is more focused on my design. Although it has beautifully hand cut joinery and satisfying lines, I feel my design speaks louder than the wood itself which is never my intention. Still, a thought-provoking table, and a joy to look at.
