This is a white oak coffee table with a woven paper-cord undercarriage. The joinery itself has some continuity based off of the paper-cord as the through-tenons overlap. This subtle detail is easily missed due to the overall aesthetic of the piece. There are several subtle yet profound elements that are thought provoking and a joy to stare at. (Yugen) -Subtly profound grace.
All wood is 3rd-hand material. (1st- Used for doors. 2nd- A table from the door scraps. 3rd- This coffee table.)
